New visitor: Anna’s Hummingbird

We have never seen this hummingbird species before. Here at the church our hummingbird friends are Black chinned Hummingbird, Rufus, and broad tail. Last year we had two new visitor species: Broad Billed (whistling) hummingbird, and the Caliope. This year it seemed we were back to the familiar three, but then this beauty arrived–presumably migrating South and here for a brief visit. I know in the photo above it looks black, but when the light hits it–scarlet red–see the video below.
